What exercises can I do with a sandbag?
There are a huge range of exercises that can be done with a fitness sandbag. The majority of these exercises involve compound movements which will work out many muscles in your body at the one time.

How much do sandbags cost?
Sandbags cost anywhere between $25 to $200 for the top of the range sandbags.
Of course the more you spend, the better quality you’d expect.
If you’re just starting and are interesting in trying them out to see if you enjoy a sandbag workout, go for the lower-middle cost range, making sure to read reviews along the way to make sure that you are getting a quality product.
How much do sandbags weigh?
The great thing about sandbags is that you can easily adjust the weight by adding or removing the volume of sand.
Sandbags can weigh from 25 pounds all the way through to around 75 pounds.

Do sandbags come filled with sand or do I have to by the sand separately?
Sandbags come without sand and you will have to purchase the sand separately.
20kg of sand can be purchased for around $2-$5 at any hardware store, and it is very easy to fill your sandbag with sand at home by yourself.
How do you wash a fitness sandbag?
Most sandbags are waterproof, and you’ll simply need to remove the sandbag insets, and wash the sandbag with soap and water.
Leave the sandbag to dry outside.
Once dry, replace the sandbag inserts (the bags full of sand) and you’ll be ready to go again with a nice clean sandbag!
Can I use sandbag training with my usual workout?
Of course!
A sandbag workout is a great way to complement your existing training. Add a sandbag workout to the middle or end of your usual workout routine to really burn those calories and get a total body workout.
The great thing is that many sandbag workout routines are short and sharp, lasting around 5-12 minutes for a complete total body workout.
