These intermediate sandbag workout routines are ideal for those who have used sandbags before and have already visited and gone through our beginner sandbag workout routine post.
The routines below include videos, and a description that details the workout, the duration of the workout and we will outline the exercises that are included in each intermediate sandbag workout.
FITNESS BLENDER – 40 MINUTE SANDBAG WORKOUT – TOTAL BODY + CORE
This total body and core sandbag workout will workout your entire body, with 50% of the exercises aimed at core strength.
Don’t let the 40 minute time frame of the workout put you off, the workout is composed of around 12 minutes of warm up and cool down worked into the routine.
Daniel does a great job of talking through each exercise, and each set of exercises is run using a timer so that you’ll know how much time is left with each exercise.
There is 15 seconds rest between each exercise, so you’ll need to be on your toes and ready to set up for the next exercise set once the timer on your exercise runs out.

FIT GENT – 30 MINUTE SANDBAG WORKOUT
At 30 minutes duration, this one is sure to give you a very solid workout.
This is in the intermediate sandbag workout routine category because the movements involved are not overly complicated.
There is rest at the end of each exercise to allow you to catch your breath, and the exercises are more likely going to leave you pretty sore, but not totally exhausted.
ULTIMATE SANDBAG – 30 MINUTE WORKOUT
Good workout with a lot of exercises to keep you guessing.
Would be great if the exercises were explained before each transition, but others a really good session.
